Fernando Díaz Canales

Fernando Díaz Canales is an accomplished professional in the field of telecommunications and engineering, currently serving as the Landing Station Regional Site Manager EMEA at Telesat since October 2021. Previously, Fernando held positions such as Satellite Solutions Project Manager at Eurovision Services and Solutions Architect at the European Broadcasting Union, where responsibilities included designing the RF architecture for the Eurovision News Network. With a solid foundation in RF engineering from earlier roles at Gotmic AB and Indra, Fernando has expertise in MMIC design, antenna systems, and electronic warfare systems. An educational background includes a Master's in Wireless and Photonics Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology and an MSc in Telecommunication Engineering from Universidad de Cantabria.
