Joanne Monette is a seasoned professional in accounting and financial reporting, currently serving as Senior Manager of External Reporting and Technical Accounting at Telesat Canada since October 2012. Prior roles at Telesat include Manager and Senior Staff Accountant in the same department. Prior to this, Joanne gained experience as a Manager at Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton from 2002 to 2012. Joanne holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from the University of Ottawa, completed between 1999 and 2003, and is a certified CPA, CA, CBV, and CPA in Illinois.
