Jorge Pinto

Jorge Pinto is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in designing and implementing complex software systems. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer for Telesat, Jorge focuses on enhancing the Telesat Lightspeed Low Earth Orbit Satellite Constellation Capacity Management System. Previous roles include Senior Software Developer and Team Lead at InVita Healthcare Technologies, where Jorge developed a multi-tier application for forensic laboratory management, and co-CEO at Merbos Technologies Inc., overseeing IT and software solutions for both government and private sectors. Additional expertise includes contributions to Fisheries and Oceans Canada's web-based Observer Trip Information System, and consulting work as a Sole Proprietor.
