Adam Saddler

Adam Saddler has a diverse work experience in the field of research and health sciences. Adam started their career in 2014 as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Ifakara Health Institute. In this role, they assumed additional responsibilities such as being the deputy department head, managing the Bagamoyo branch insectary, conducting training programs, and supervising students. Adam then joined Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute in the same year as a Postdoctoral Scientific Collaborator. Adam'swork involved leading and supporting research projects on disease vectors at Ifakara Health Institute. Adam has been involved in various projects including field trials of IRS products and attractive toxic sugar bait, as well as exploring the combination of spatial repellents and mosquito traps. In 2020, Adam joined Telethon Kids Institute as a Research Officer.

Adam Saddler completed their education in the field of ecology and evolutionary biology. Adam obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from Imperial College London between 2009 and 2013. Prior to their doctoral studies, they achieved a Master of Science (MSc) degree in public health research from The University of Edinburgh from 2008 to 2009. Adam'sundergraduate studies took place at The University of Edinburgh as well, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in zoology/animal biology from 2002 to 2006.
