Dr Amelia Harray

Honorary Researcher at Telethon Kids Institute

Dr Amelia Harray has a diverse range of work experience in the fields of nutrition and research. Dr Amelia is currently the Director and Founder of Eat Sustainably, a company focused on sustainable eating. In addition, they are a Research Fellow at The University of Western Australia, where they are involved in The Plastic Exposure Reduction Transforms Health (PERTH) Trial.

Previously, Dr Harray has held roles as an Honorary Researcher at the Telethon Kids Institute and as an Adjunct Research Fellow, Sessional Academic (Lecturer), and Research Associate at Curtin University. Dr Amelia also worked as a Dietetic Consultant and as a Managing Dietitian at Aegis Aged Care Group.

Dr Harray has experience in the non-profit sector as well, having worked as a Nutrition Manager for the National Heart Foundation of Australia, both in the LiveLighter WA program and in the WA Division. Dr Amelia has also served as a Clinical Dietitian at Armadale Hospital.

Dr. Amelia Harray completed their Bachelor of Science (Nutrition) degree at Curtin University from 2007 to 2010. Continuing their education, Dr. Harray obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Dietetics from Curtin University from 2013 to 2018.
