Gayathry Krishnamurthy

Gayathry Krishnamurthy has a diverse range of work experiences in the field of medical research and scientific associations. Gayathry is currently working as a PhD Candidate and Primary Research Assistant at the Menzies Institute for Medical Research. Gayathry started their role as a Research Assistant at the Telethon Kids Institute in 2020. Prior to that, they were a Master Degree Student at Curtin University from 2019 to 2021. Gayathry also has experience working as a Console Operator at BP in 2020. Gayathry has a strong background in molecular biology and has worked as a Scientific Associate at Klonos LifeSciences, KRIBS-BIONEST in 2018. Furthermore, they gained research experience as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at Endrocrine Disruption and Reproductive Toxicology Laboratory at SRM University from 2015 to 2018. Gayathry also underwent an internship at Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI), where they focused on microbiology, genomics, proteomics, fish nutrition, and pathology. Additionally, they completed a summer internship on molecular genetics at UniBiosys Biotech Research Labs in 2016. In 2023, Gayathry will start working as a Training and Events Officer at COMBINE Australia.
