Jasminka Murdzoska

Research Associate at Telethon Kids Institute

Jasminka Murdzoska has extensive work experience in research, clinical trials, and academia. Jasminka started their career as a Research Assistant at The University of Western Australia in 2005 and worked there until 2009. Jasminka then joined Edith Cowan University as a Demonstrator/Tutor in 2007 and continued in that role until 2011. During this time, they also served as a Lecturer from 2014 to 2015. In 2011, they returned to The University of Western Australia as a Research Fellow and later became an Adjunct Research Fellow in 2014. Jasminka also took on a role as a Freelance Journal Editor at Forte Science Communications from June 2013 to June 2014. Jasminka then joined Telethon Kids Institute as a Clinical Trial Coordinator from March 2013 to June 2014. In 2014, they transitioned to Linear Clinical Research Ltd as a Clinical Trials Project Manager until September 2016. Currently, they are working at the Telethon Kids Institute as a Research Associate.

Jasminka Murdzoska completed their Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Human Biology and Biomedical from Edith Cowan University from 2003 to 2005. In 2006, they pursued a Bachelor of Science Honours degree from the same university. Subsequently, in 2007, Jasminka attended The University of Western Australia, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree specializing in Gene-Environment Interactions, which they completed in 2011.
