Lynne Millar

Lynne Millar has an extensive work experience in research and academia. Lynne currently holds the position of Senior Research Fellow at the Telethon Kids Institute, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Lecturer in psychology at Curtin University from January 2022 to June 2022, and as a Research Fellow in Public Health from September 2020 to February 2022. Lynne also served as a Senior Research Fellow at The University of Notre Dame Australia from January 2020 to June 2022, and as a Lecturer at Victoria University from July 2020 to February 2022.

Before joining Victoria University, Lynne was a Project Director at the University of Melbourne from January 2018 to January 2020. Prior to this, they held multiple positions at Victoria University, including Senior Research Fellow and Adjunct Fellow from January 2018 to January 2020. Lynne also served as a Senior Research Fellow at Deakin University from July 2017 to January 2020.

Lynne'searlier roles include Senior Research Fellow, Senior Lecturer, and Research Fellow at Deakin University from July 2013 to December 2016, and Research Officer at James Cook University from June 2006 to August 2009.

Lynne Millar began their education in 1999 at Deakin University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology. Lynne successfully completed the program in 2004. In 2005, Lynne continued their studies at Deakin University and obtained a BA (psych hons), further specializing in the field of Psychology. Lynne's educational journey continued, and they enrolled in a doctoral program at Deakin University in 2010. Lynne successfully completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Public Health in 2013.
