Melissa Licari

Melissa Licari has a strong background in research and academia. Melissa recently joined the Telethon Kids Institute in 2019 as a Senior Research Fellow. Prior to this, they held various positions at The University of Western Australia. From 2007 to 2019, they worked as a Lecturer and Co-Director for UWA Paediatric Exercise Programs. Before that, from 2003 to 2006, they served as the Coordinator for the same programs.

Melissa Licari has a comprehensive education history. Melissa began their educational journey in 2000 at The University of Western Australia, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Exercise & Health Science with Honours. Melissa completed this degree in 2003. Melissa then continued their studies at the same institution, obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Motor Control from 2004 to 2007.

In 2010, Melissa attended the University of Melbourne for a Specialist Certificate in Clinical Research (Neuroscience), which they completed within the same year.

More recently, in 2021-2022, Melissa enrolled at Murdoch University for a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Exercise Physiology.
