Research Assistant- Child Physical Activity, Health And Development Team at Telethon Kids Institute

Phoebe George has work experience in both academic and research settings. Currently, they hold a position as a Casual Postgraduate Teacher at The University of Western Australia, starting in March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at the Telethon Kids Institute, where they held two roles. From September 2019 onwards, they served as a Research Assistant in the Child Physical Activity, Health, and Development team. Previously, from December 2015 to September 2019, they worked as a Research Assistant in the Health Promotion and Education Research Team.

Phoebe George's education journey began in 2010 at The University of Western Australia, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree with a specialization in Neuroscience. This program lasted for five years, concluding in 2015. Following their undergraduate studies, they proceeded to enroll at the same institution for a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree, which they pursued from 2016 to 2019. During this period, their field of study is unspecified. Currently, Phoebe is pursuing a higher level of education at The University of Western Australia, where they are expected to complete a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Global and Population Health by 2024.
