Yvonne L.

Yvonne L. has a diverse work experience in the field of dentistry and research. Yvonne started their career as a Dental Registrar at Princess Margaret Hospital for Children in 2013 and continued in the same role until 2017. During this time, they also served as a Dental Registrar and later a Paediatric Dental Registrar at the Oral Health Centre of Western Australia.

In 2017, Yvonne joined the University of Otago as a Postgraduate and Clinical Tutor in Paediatric Dentistry. Yvonne then briefly worked as a Professional Practice Fellow before becoming a Specialist Paediatric Dentist at Children's Dentistry. In 2018, they worked as a Locum Dentist at Shearer Dental in New Zealand.

Yvonne's career further progressed as they became a Clinical Tutor/Supervisor in Undergraduate Paediatric Dentistry at the University of Adelaide in 2019. Yvonne also began their Ph.D. candidacy as a Researcher at both the University of Queensland and the Telethon Kids Institute in the same year.

Later in 2019, Yvonne transitioned to a role as a Specialist Paediatric Dentist at Adelaide Children's Dentistry. Their work in this position lasted until November 2020. Throughout their career, Yvonne has been involved in various research projects, contributing to their expertise in the dental field.

Yvonne L. began their education at Leeming Primary School and later attended Rossmoyne Senior High School for their secondary education. After completing high school, they pursued a Bachelor of Dental Science degree at The University of Western Australia from 2005 to 2009, specializing in Dentistry.

In 2014, Yvonne went on to obtain a Doctor of Clinical Dentistry degree in Paediatric Dentistry from The University of Western Australia. Yvonne further enhanced their education by completing an external overseas placement at the University of Otago in Paediatric Dentistry in 2017.

Yvonne continued their academic journey by enrolling at The University of Queensland in 2019 to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree, with a field of study that is unspecified.

Additionally, Yvonne has obtained additional certifications throughout their educational and professional career. In 2017, they obtained the MRACDS (Membership, Specialist Stream - Paediatric Dentistry) certification from the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS). In 2018, they also acquired the Certificate of Resuscitation and Emergency Care (CORE) Advanced from Emcare Services.
