Loic Mervant is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at The Francis Crick Institute since April 2022. Prior to this role, Mervant was a Doctorant at INRAE from November 2018 to April 2022 and worked as an Ingénieur d'études en métabolomique at Medday Pharmaceuticals from October 2016 to November 2018. Significant responsibilities during this time included developing qualitative and quantitative methods for metabolomic analyses using LC-HRMS and LC-MS/MS, data processing, statistical analysis, and biological interpretation of results. Mervant's career began with an internship at the Laboratoire d'Ingénierie des Systèmes Biologiques et des Procédés (LISBP) in early 2016, where skills in non-targeted isotopic profiling methods were developed. Mervant holds a Master's degree in Structural Biochemistry, Proteomics, and Metabolomics and a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, both from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III.
