Katelen K.

Katelen K. has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. In 2009, they worked as a Brand Ambassador/Promotional Sales representative at Preston Marketing. From 2010 to 2011, they served as a Membership Sales Assistant at Ballantyne Country Club before starting their own family business, Austin Daily Press, in November 2010. In 2011, they also took on the role of Head Volleyball Coach at Austin Performance Volleyball. Katelen then joined the Austin Humane Society in 2011 and held various positions including Intake Specialist, Supervisor, Operations (Shelter) Manager, and finally, Director of (Shelter) Operations. Currently, they are working at TeleVet as the Director of Talent and Culture, a position they started in January 2022.

Katelen K. obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication from the University of Tampa, where they attended from 2004 to 2008.

In 2020, they enrolled in the Human Resource Management Certificate Program at The University of Texas at Austin – Center for Professional Education (CPE), where they successfully completed the program.

Additionally, in January 2021, they obtained the SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM.
