Jay Iyer

Jay Iyer has extensive work experience in the field of data engineering. Jay is currently employed as the Vice President of Data Engineering at TelevisaUnivision since November 2021. Prior to this, from October 2019 to October 2021, Jay served as the Senior Director of Data Engineering at Paramount.

Before joining Paramount, Jay was the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Crowd Consulting LLC from October 2016 to October 2019. Jay also worked as a Principal Big Data Architect specializing in Snowflake implementations from March 2018 to March 2019.

Jay Iyer has a diverse education history. In 1987, they completed their Bachelor's of Engineering degree in Electronics & Instrumentation from Annamalai University. Jay later pursued a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering (VLSI Design) from Arizona State University, which they obtained from 1992 to 1994. In 2021, Jay furthered their education with a CORe Credential of Readiness from Harvard Business School Online. In 2021, they also attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business for Executive Education, focusing on Business Administration, Management, and Leadership.
