Niko Savolainen

Niko Savolainen is an experienced professional in the telecommunications and cloud infrastructure sectors, currently serving as Chief Architect and Product Manager at Telia Company since August 2017, focusing on the architecture and development of Telia Network Cloud. Prior to this role, Niko held various positions at Nokia from May 1999 to July 2017, including Software Development Team Lead for the Nokia Mobile Gateway, Chief Architect for the Flexi Network Gateway, and Software Architect, with a concentration on user plane packet processing. Niko's earlier roles involved software design and development within FreeBSD environments and leadership positions overseeing teams focused on 3G SGSN user plane and GTP-C protocol development. Niko holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics and Automation from the Helsinki Institute of Technology.
