Aija Rainio has accumulated extensive work experience in the field of marketing and communications. Aija started their career in 2005 as a Communications Project Assistant at Nordic Information Office. Aija then joined TeliaSonera in 2006 as a Customer Service Advisor. Aija worked in various marketing roles at TeliaSonera from 2007 to 2017, including Marketing Specialist, Marketing Manager, and Head of Marketing B2C. During this time, they gained experience in both direct marketing and media marketing, and also took on responsibilities for customer communication activities. In 2016, Aija briefly worked as a Marketing Manager at TeliaSonera Finland Oyj, where they had overall responsibility for marketing communications at Tele Finland. Currently, Aija is working at Telia as the Head of Online Media. Aija previously held the positions of Senior Marketing Manager, Marketing Team Lead, and Senior Marketing Manager, where they were responsible for strategic marketing in the B2C segment and led the B2C marketing team. Aija's roles have required a wide range of marketing and communications knowledge, strong business acumen, and excellent leadership and people skills.
Aija Rainio earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Swedish Language and Literature from the University of Jyväskylä from 2001 to 2008. Aija also obtained a Master's degree in Marketing from the same university from 2004 to 2008.
