Matt Cottam

Matt Cottam is the Founder and Principal Designer at Tellart, an Amsterdam-based studio, a position held since 2000. Cottam has been a faculty member at the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design since 2009, teaching courses including Introduction to Interaction Design and Information Design. Cottam also served as an Advanced Life Support Paramedic for the National Disaster Medical Team from 2006 to 2014, and held adjunct professor roles at the Umeå Institute of Design and faculty positions at the Rhode Island School of Design. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's of Fine Arts and Bachelor's of Industrial Design from the Rhode Island School of Design, a Master's of Fine Arts from Umeå University, and certifications from the Royal Yachting Association and the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians.
