Sebastian Coates

Sebastian Coates has a varied work experience. In 2020, they became the CEO and Co-founder of Tellescope. From 2019 to 2020, they were a Software Engineering Intern at Apple, where they worked on the Apple Watch. From 2018 to 2019, they were a Blockchain Intern at Vertex Pharmaceuticals. From 2017 to 2018, they were a Summer Tech Analyst at Bank of America, where they worked on various innovation projects in trade finance, applying machine learning and blockchain technologies. Sebastian also participated in a 3-day Lean/Agile workshop and learned how to work in such a framework.

Sebastian Coates attended Tufts University from 2016 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics. Sebastian also attended the University of Oxford from 2018 to 2019, studying Mathematics.
