Loren L. Chen

Loren L. Chen has a diverse work experience spanning from 2006 to the present. From 2006 to 2010, they worked as an Accounting/Operations Intern at Exa Corporation. During their undergraduate studies at Brandeis University, they worked as an Economics Department Research Assistant and Math Department Teaching Assistant. From 2010 to 2017, they were a Graduate Student and Teaching Assistant at the University of Southern California. From 2017 to 2018, they were a Data Scientist and Data Science Teaching Assistant at Metis. In 2018, they became Manager, Data Science and Engineering at tellic, a data science technology company. Loren L. also held the roles of Senior Data Scientist and Data Scientist at tellic. Additionally, since 2015, they have been Co-Founder, Producer, and Host of the On the NBA Beat Podcast.

Loren L. Chen holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Economics from the University of Southern California, as well as a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Economics and Mathematics with Honors (Philosophy minor) from Brandeis University. In addition, Chen has obtained certifications in Drug Discovery from Coursera in September 2018, and Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure from Coursera in February 2018.
