Alexander Laney possesses extensive experience in hospitality training and restaurant operations management. Currently serving as the Director of Hospitality Training at Telluride Ski & Golf since August 2017, Alexander previously held the position of Manager of Restaurant Training at Southside Market & Barbeque from March 2016 to July 2017. Alexander's notable tenure at Darden from November 2007 to August 2015 included roles such as New Restaurant Opening Manager and Divisional Training Manager, focusing on training teams and operational efficiency across multiple brands including LongHorn Steakhouse and The Olive Garden. Prior experience also includes positions at Rare Hospitality and LongHorn Steakhouse, where Alexander developed team members and managed daily operations. Alexander began career at Walt Disney World, gaining early experience in safety and emergency response. A graduate of Elon University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Alexander's background combines leadership in training with a solid foundation in restaurant management.
