Chelsea Chinwei Eow

Chelsea Chinwei Eow has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Chelsea Chinwei is currently working at Telstra as a Senior Risk Manager - Defence, a role they have held since January 2022. Before joining Telstra, they had a long tenure at Telstra Health, where they served as a Risk and Compliance Lead from February 2013 to April 2022.

Chelsea also has extensive experience at Deloitte, where they held various positions. Chelsea Chinwei'sresponsibilities included helping senior management leverage ERP systems and data for better decision-making and managing student and corporation billings, fees, and collections.

Earlier in their career, Chelsea held the position of Manager, Financial Accounting / Financial Analyst at the University of British Columbia from March 1998 to January 2001. Chelsea Chinwei was responsible for financial and management reporting and systems implementation and support.

Chelsea's work experience also includes roles at Sime Darby Berhad as an Internal Audit Manager from April 1996 to December 1998 and at Pan-West Malaysia as a Financial Controller from 1993 to 1996.

Chelsea Chinwei'scareer began at Deloitte, where they served as an Audit Assistant/Audit Senior from 1990 to 1993. In this role, they performed and led financial statements and IT audits for organizations across various industries.

Chelsea Chinwei Eow has a Bachelor of Business in Accounting from Curtin University, which they obtained from 1987 to 1989. Chelsea Chinwei later obtained a Diploma in Christian Studies in Marketplace Ministries from Regent College, affiliated with the University of British Columbia, from 1998 to 2000. Chelsea also has various certifications, including being a Chartered Accountant from the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. Chelsea Chinwei completed their Chartered Accountant degree from the Institute of Chartered Accountants Alberta, Canada, from 2006 to 2008. Additionally, they hold certifications as a Certified Practising Accountant from the Certified Practising Accountant, Australia, and as a Certified Public Accountant from the Malaysian Association of Certified Public Accountants. Chelsea also obtained a certification as a Certified Information Systems Auditor from the Information Systems Audit and Controls Association in 1997-1998.
