Ahmed Charania

Ahmed Charania is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in information services and technology strategy. Currently serving as a Senior Manager at TELUS Digital since 2020, Ahmed leads the migration to AWS Cloud and oversees initiatives focused on datacenter and network consolidations to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Prior to this role, Ahmed spent 19 years at Torstar Corporation as Sr. Manager of Shared Infrastructure Services, responsible for enterprise computing and developing a comprehensive strategic roadmap for hybrid systems. Earlier experience at Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise involved managing IT activities for large-scale projects and building IT teams in multiple countries. Ahmed holds an Oracle certified DBA credential and has completed various training programs, including those from York University, University of Toronto, and NED University of Engineering and Technology.
