Allyson McElwain

Allyson McElwain, PhD, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in diversity, inclusion, and learning and development. Currently serving as the Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer and Director of Development and Learning at TELUS since 2014, McElwain previously held various leadership roles at Loblaw Companies Limited from 2009 to 2014 and worked as a consultant at Organization and Management Solutions from 2001 to 2009. McElwain began a career in research as a Research Assistant at the Centre for Families, Work and Well-Being between 2002 and 2008. McElwain holds a PhD and a Master of Arts in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Guelph, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from York University.
