Geoffrey Holan

Geoffrey Holan has extensive experience in network architecture and design, spanning over three decades. Since September 2001, Geoffrey has held the position of Senior Network Architect at TELUS, where responsibilities include overseeing the Core Backbone Network and Internet Transit Services Architecture as a TELUS Fellow in the CTO Office of Technical Strategy. Prior to this role, Geoffrey served as a Network Architect at 360networks, focusing on MPLS Network and Services. Earlier in Geoffrey's career at TELUS from 1995 to 2000, responsibilities involved building and maintaining the Core Network, Unix system administration, and customer network design. Geoffrey began a professional journey as a Programmer and Network Analyst at the University of Alberta from 1985 to 1995. Geoffrey holds an education from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, completed between 1980 and 1982.
