Mary Jo Haddad

Mary Jo Haddad CM currently serves as the Director at Capitalize for Kids and has held the position of Corporate Director at TELUS since May 2014, where responsibilities include chairing the People Culture and Compensation Committee and being a member of the Board Governance Committee. In addition to being Chancellor at the University of Windsor since May 2019, Mary Jo is the President of MJH & Associates, offering advisory services on strategy and organizational design. As the Founding Chair of Children First Canada, advocacy efforts focus on improving the lives of children and youth in Canada. Recent board involvement includes Bravo Niagara! Festival of the Arts and past roles at TD and Vector Institute. Mary Jo's extensive career includes serving as President and CEO of The Hospital for Sick Children from 1984 to 2014, culminating in retirement after a distinguished tenure in healthcare leadership. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Health Administration from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Windsor.
