Darrel Teo

Darrel Teo is an experienced academic and professional with a diverse background in education and commercial roles. Currently serving as an Adjunct Lecturer at the National Institute of Education, Singapore, since July 2023, Darrel has also held the position of Senior Lecturer and Head of the Digital Business Transformation Centre at Temasek Polytechnic since 2017. Prior experience includes roles as Commercial Trading Manager at Daewoo International Singapore and Commercial Manager at Sky Greens Pte Ltd. Darrel's earlier career features positions as Grains Trader at Louis Dreyfus Commodities Asia and Procurement Executive at the Defence Science & Technology Agency. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Consumer Behaviour from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, a Master of Science in International Business from the University of Birmingham, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical (Systems) Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore. Early education was completed at Temasek Junior College and Montfort Secondary School.
