Gladys Tan is currently serving as Assistant Vice President at Temasek since December 2023. Prior to this role, Gladys held positions at the Singapore Business Federation, including Deputy Director for International Relations, overseeing initiatives related to cross-border paperless trade and sustainability, and Assistant Director for both International Relations and Policy and Planning. From July 2013 to January 2021, Gladys worked at the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, advancing through various roles such as Senior Manager and Manager, focusing on sustainable maritime technologies, regulatory regimes, and port competitiveness. Additionally, in September 2019, Gladys represented Singapore as a delegate at the United Nations General Assembly, engaging in negotiations on economic and financial issues. Educational accomplishments include a Master of Arts in East Asian Regional Studies from Columbia University and a degree in Biology with Management from Imperial College London.
