Jason Chicola has an extensive work experience. Jason began their career in 2000 as a Business Analyst at McKinsey, based in their Miami office. From 2002 to 2007, they worked as an Associate at Globespan Capital Partners, a venture capital firm with $1B under management. From 2007 to 2011, they worked as an Investment Professional at H.I.G. Capital, a private equity firm with $10B under management. Jason also began angel investing in 2013, investing in companies such as OfferUp.com, ZenPut.com, and TryDesignLab. In 2011, they founded Rev.com, which offers human transcription, captions, subtitles, and translation services. In 2017, they founded Temi.com, an automated transcription service. Finally, from 2004 to 2011, they worked as the Director of Marketing & Sales at oDesk, which is now known as Upwork.

Jason Chicola attended Miami Palmetto Senior High from 1993 to 1996. Jason then attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and Economics.
