Marty Smith is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as a Customer Relations Representative at Tempest Energy, LLC since September 2023, Marty previously held the position of Vice President of Marketing at Cleco Power from January 2017 until retirement in November 2021. Marty's career at Cleco Corporation spanned nearly two decades, where responsibilities included managing Regional Distribution Engineering, Right-of-Way Acquisitions, and Real Estate as General Manager, along with overseeing facilities and building construction projects as Manager of Buildings & Grounds. Marty graduated from Louisiana Tech University, further enhancing a strong foundation in the field.
