Alexis Handler

Alexis Handler is a J.D. candidate at the University of Miami School of Law, expected to graduate in 2025, with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Southern California. Alexis has gained diverse experience in the legal field, serving as a Legal Assistant at California Legal Counsel, APLC, and as a Legal Intern and Certified Legal Intern at the Miami-Dade Public Defender's Office, where responsibilities included drafting motions and participating in court proceedings. Additional legal experience includes managing dependency cases as a Certified Legal Intern at the University of Miami School of Law. Prior to a legal career, Alexis demonstrated leadership and caregiving skills as a full-time head counselor and unit head at various summer camps, overseeing children's activities and ensuring their safety. Currently, Alexis is teaching a 1st Grade class at Temple Beth Am, focusing on Judaism education.
