Kristen Smith

Kristen Smith has over a decade of experience in performance improvement and operational management within healthcare settings. At Temple University Health System, Kristen held several leadership roles from December 2014 to July 2024, including Director of Performance Excellence and Manager of Performance Improvement & Infection Prevention. Responsibilities included preparing internal dashboards, conducting audits, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations, and facilitating educational programs. Prior experience at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center encompassed roles such as Nursing Performance Improvement Data Analyst, where Kristen organized and analyzed performance improvement activities and ensured compliance with external benchmarks. Kristen also gained experience in patient care and legal research through earlier roles. Kristen holds a Master of Public Policy from Stony Brook University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from York College of Pennsylvania.
