Alana Smith is an experienced educator and marketing professional with a diverse background in early childhood education and administrative support. Temple Israel of Hollywood is a progressive Reform congregation made up of 3000 members from Hancock Park, West Hollywood, Los Feliz, Silverlake, Beverly Hills and the near Valley. Founded in 1926 by a group of entertainment luminaries, and located in the heart of Hollywood, Temple Israel has never strayed from its deep dedication to worship, education, social justice and action. A welcoming, inclusive community, Temple Israel offers robust adult learning and arts programming with a distinctly contemporary flair. Our three schools educate over 600 students and our social action programs help thousands in need every year.
