Joey Reynoso is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in life coaching, education, and social advocacy. Currently serving as a Life & Wellness Coach at Omatayo Life Coaching and Total Wellness, Joey integrates psychology, Indigenous wisdom, and various wellness practices to empower individuals. As the Lead Preschool Teacher at Temple Israel of Hollywood, emphasis is placed on early literacy, social-emotional learning, and inclusive education for diverse student needs. Previous roles include administrative responsibilities at Civil Discourse & Social Change, where efforts focused on social justice initiatives, as well as managing social media for the Gender and Women's Studies Department at California State University, Northridge. Joey has also contributed to the music industry as a band manager and singer, showcasing a commitment to community engagement and activism throughout various leadership positions, including serving as President of the Associated Student Body at Riverside Community College District. Joey holds a degree in Gender & Women's Studies with Distinction and a minor in Queer Studies from California State University, Northridge.

Temple Israel of Hollywood is a progressive Reform congregation made up of 3000 members from Hancock Park, West Hollywood, Los Feliz, Silverlake, Beverly Hills and the near Valley. Founded in 1926 by a group of entertainment luminaries, and located in the heart of Hollywood, Temple Israel has never strayed from its deep dedication to worship, education, social justice and action. A welcoming, inclusive community, Temple Israel offers robust adult learning and arts programming with a distinctly contemporary flair. Our three schools educate over 600 students and our social action programs help thousands in need every year.
