Roxanne Weaver

Roxanne Weaver is a dedicated early childhood education professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Lead Head Start Preschool Teacher at Modesto City Schools since June 2021, Roxanne has previously worked as a Head Start Associate for the Stanislaus County Office of Education and actively contributed to the California Association for the Education of Young Children as a Public Policy Committee Member and former Co-Chair of the Communications and Outreach Committee. Roxanne also served as the Past President of the Central Region of the California Association for the Education of Young Children, focusing on strategic planning and the promotion of quality educational opportunities. In addition to various roles within student government at Modesto Junior College, Roxanne has taught infants and toddlers in a lab setting and managed promotional efforts for local organizations, demonstrating a strong commitment to child development and early education. Currently, Roxanne is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Child Development at Northcentral University.
