Marcy Serkin

Marcy Serkin is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in advancement operations, donor relations, and development within educational and non-profit organizations. Currently serving as the Associate Vice President of Advancement Operations at Temple University since February 2020, Marcy provides strategic leadership for key operational functions and drives technology initiatives to meet fundraising and engagement goals. Prior roles include Deputy Director of Development at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, where oversight of gift processing and management was crucial, and Director of Training and Quality Control at Yeshiva University, focusing on training for over 100 professionals. Marcy's career began in donor relations at the Jewish Theological Seminary and included leadership positions at JOFA, managing events and fostering donor relationships. Marcy holds an M.A. in Linguistics from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, and a B.A. in English from Yeshiva University.
