Michael Noriega

Michael Noriega is a seasoned technical artist and software engineer with a diverse career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Principal Technical Artist at Tempo since April 2024, Michael previously held the position of VP, Creative Director at Azra Games, where responsibilities included shaping the creative vision for a successful action-RPG and significantly contributing to studio growth. Prior to that, Michael spent nearly a decade at Electronic Arts, where roles ranged from Technical Art Director to Software Engineer, focusing on enhancing Unity practices, collaborating with Lucasfilm, and developing innovative game features. Michael's earlier experiences include software development roles at Sun City Lincoln Hills Community Association, ownership of Synkopia Studios, and significant contributions at Hewlett-Packard, where Michael led teams on various software projects. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from California State University-Sacramento.
