Peter Sullivan

Peter Sullivan has a vast and extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Peter started their career as a Consultant at Accenture in 1998 and worked there until 2000. Peter then joined BlueMeteor Inc. as a Solutions Engineer from 2000 to 2001. Following this, they worked as a Consultant for their own self-employed venture from April 2001 to September 2001. Peter then joined The Options Clearing Corporation as a Lead Systems Architect, where they worked from September 2001 to August 2012.

Afterwards, Peter joined OfficeMax as the Lead Enterprise Architecture Engineer for eCommerce from August 2012 to January 2014. Peter then worked at hybris software as a Solution Architect from January 2014 to January 2016. Peter's next role was at Pivotal, where they served as a Senior Platform Architect from January 2016 to January 2018. Peter then became the Manager of Platform Architecture at Pivotal from February 2018 to December 2019.

In 2020, Peter joined VMware as a Solutions Engineering Manager in the Modern Applications Platform Business Unit (MAPBU) after the acquisition of Pivotal. Peter led a team of presales and customer success architects focusing on the VMware Tanzu product portfolio. Peter worked in this role until March 2020. Afterward, they joined Styra as the Director of Solutions Architecture, where they worked from March 2020 to February 2023.

Most recently, Peter has been working at Temporal Technologies as a Senior Solutions Architect since February 2023. Their work experience demonstrates their expertise in various roles and industries, showcasing their strong background in solutions architecture and platform management.

Peter Sullivan attended the University of Notre Dame, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. After completing their undergraduate studies, they continued their education at DePaul University, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Science. In October 2019, Peter also obtained the CKAD: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer certification from The Linux Foundation.
