James Schockett

James Schockett has over 20 years of work experience in finance and treasury roles. James began their career as an Analyst in Air Finance at UPS in 2000 and worked their way up to become a Manager in International Finance. In 2006, they joined Yum! Brands as a Senior Manager in Capital Markets and later transitioned to Senior Manager in Treasury. In 2010, they moved to Hanesbrands Inc. as an Assistant Treasurer before joining VF Corporation in 2012 in the same role. In 2014, they became the Vice President and Treasurer at Tempur Sealy International. Prior to their career in finance, they worked as a Lecturer and Graduate Assistant at the University of Wyoming from 1994 to 1999.

James Schockett completed their high school education at Miami Palmetto Sr. High School from 1987 to 1990. James then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics at the University of Florida from 1990 to 1994. Following this, they attended the University of Wyoming from 1994 to 1999, where they obtained a Ph.D. in Economics. In addition, they briefly studied Economics at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 1994.
