Jimmy Rose has a comprehensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Jimmy started their career in Volunteer Thread Company as a Manager from 1995 to 1999. Jimmy then joined Hilos Volunteer S.A. de R.L. de C.V. as a Gerente General and successfully established a low-cost distribution/sales operation in Mexico. After that, Jimmy returned to Volunteer Thread Company as a Sales Manager, and later as Vice President, where they managed operations and achieved profitability in 2007. In 2009, they transitioned to Tempur Sealy International and held various roles, including Global Project Engineer, Director of Strategic Sourcing and Engineering, Director of Strategic Sourcing - Materials, Project Director, and most recently as Vice President of Global Strategic Sourcing. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong leadership skills, managed international teams, developed and executed sourcing strategies, and achieved successful business outcomes.

Jimmy Rose attained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Supply Chain Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2021. Prior to this, they studied at Lipscomb University, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Sustainability from 2008 to 2014. In addition, Jimmy Rose holds a Bachelor of Science in Textile Engineering (BSTE) from the Georgia Institute of Technology, completed between 1990 and 1995. Jimmy also completed various certification programs, including the MITx MicroMasters Program Certificate in Supply Chain Management from MITx Courses in 2019, and the LEED AP O+M certification from USGBC in 2014.
