Mario Rosasco is an accomplished computational biologist with extensive experience across multiple prestigious institutions. Currently serving as Associate Principal Computational Biologist at Tempus AI since August 2021, Rosasco previously held roles as a Senior Computational Biologist and Bioinformatician at Benaroya Research Institute at Virginia Mason, where responsibilities included managing high-throughput sequencing pipelines and developing web applications for data analysis. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral fellowship and graduate studies at the University of Washington, focusing on the structure and function of multimodal proteins and voltage-sensitive phosphatases, respectively. Rosasco began research in the Bezanilla Lab at the University of Chicago, contributing to software development for single molecule imaging and analysis while also engaging in nanoplasmonic research.
