Gerhard Louw (ACMA, CGMA)

Gerhard Louw is an experienced finance professional with a diverse background in various industries. Gerhard is currently serving as the Head of Finance - Shared Service Centre at Ten Lifestyle Group since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Financial Systems Manager at the same company from March 2021 to June 2022.

Before joining Ten Lifestyle Group, Gerhard held the position of Finance Officer at Khwela Youth Tourism Stars from October 2019 to June 2022. During this time, they also served as a Finance Officer at Ubuntu Beds from April 2020 to March 2021 and Once Travel from October 2019 to February 2021.

Gerhard's previous experience includes working as a Financial Manager at Intasor Controlled Environments and Isolite Group of Companies from February 2018 to September 2019. Gerhard started their career as a Verification Analyst at Renaissance SA Ratings from February 2012 to April 2014, where they conducted on-site verifications, collected and analyzed documents, and liaised with clients.

Gerhard Louw (ACMA, CGMA) has a diverse education history in the field of financial and management accounting. In 2009, they began their studies at the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria, where they pursued a Bcom degree in Financial Management, which they completed in 2011. Following this, in 2012 and 2013, Gerhard attended the same university to obtain their Bcom Honours degree, specializing in Financial Management.

In order to further enhance their knowledge and skills in management accounting, Gerhard pursued additional education at the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). Gerhard completed a Diploma in Management Accounting in 2015 and later obtained an Advanced Diploma in the same field in 2019.

Apart from their formal education, Gerhard Louw has also acquired additional certifications. In January 2020, they became a General Tax Practitioner (SA) after completing the required course offered by The SAIT - The South African Institute of Tax Professionals. Additionally, they have obtained certifications as a Xero Migration Specialist and a Xero Partner, both from Xero.
