Jonathan Grunewald is a Senior Battery Modeling Engineer at Ten-Nine Technologies since August 2023, following a tenure as a Postdoctoral Researcher at NASA Ames Research Center from July 2022 to August 2023. Jonathan completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology, where involvement included work as a Graduate Student from March 2017 to July 2022. Prior to this, Jonathan gained experience as an Operations Engineer at Axalta Coating Systems in the summer of 2016, focusing on process engineering improvements, and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Delaware from January 2014 to May 2016, leading research on redox flow batteries. Additional research experience includes serving as a Catalysis Research Assistant at BASF in the summer of 2015, where Jonathan developed a program for catalyst data management and pursued synthesis projects. Jonathan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering with a focus on Material Science and Economics from the University of Delaware.
