Carlos Ferreyra has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Ferreyra, started their career as a Jr Advisor at Ministerio de Economía in 2000. From there, they worked as a Financial Analyst at Investment Banking & Consulting Partners before joining Banco de la Nación Argentina as an Auditor. In 2003, they became a Financial & Economical Planning Analyst at Nidera. Carlos then joined Tenaris in 2003 and held various finance-related roles, including Finance Regional Coordinator, Financial Controller, and Finance Regional Manager for different regions. Ferreyra, later became the Finance Director and Finance Senior Director for the Middle East and Africa. In 2019, Carlos also became a Board Member at Saudi Steel Pipe Company. Most recently, they assumed the role of CFO for the Middle East, North Africa, and Asia Pacific at Tenaris in July 2020.

Carlos Ferreyra's education history begins in 1996 when they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/CPA from the Universidad Nacional de Rosario. In 2000, they pursued further education at the Universidad del CEMA, where they obtained a Master's degree in economics in 2001. Carlos later pursued an MBA at the London Business School from 2017 to 2019. In 2023, they enrolled in the Stanford University Graduate School of Business for a program called "The Emerging CFO."
