Chihiro Saito, CPA has a wide range of work experience in various finance and accounting roles. Starting from 1992, Saito worked as an Assurance Manager at Arthur Andersen & Co. for seven years. Following this, Saito joined Viador, Inc. as an Assistant Controller, where they successfully prepared and filed the company's first Form 10-K. Saito then moved to McKesson in 2002, initially serving as the Corporate Accounting Manager before becoming a Senior SEC Manager in 2004. At McKesson, Saito held multiple positions, including Director of Technical Accounting & Policy, Senior Director of Financial Reporting and Accounting Policy, and Vice President of Accounting and Financial Reporting. Notably, Saito led various financial reporting and integration projects during the acquisition of a Canadian retail pharmacy business, a German public company, and the implementation of SAP S/4 Hana. Additionally, Saito managed SEC reporting, global consolidation, and accounting and statutory reporting for international subsidiaries. In 2020, Saito joined Gilead Sciences as the Head of Financial Reporting, where they oversaw SEC filings and external reporting, led the onboarding of domestic and international acquisitions, and spearheaded the enterprise-wide implementation of SAP S/4 Hana. Most recently, in 2021, Saito joined Tenaya Therapeutics as the Vice President, Corporate Controller.

Chihiro Saito, CPA has a Master of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting from San Francisco State University, Lam Family College of Business. They also hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political, Legal, and Economic Analysis from Mills College. Additionally, Chihiro Saito is a certified public accountant (CPA) licensed by the California Board of Accountancy.
