Sylwia Figarska, PhD

Sylwia Figarska, PhD, is currently employed as a Scientist II at Tenaya Therapeutics since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Bioinformatician at UMCG from October 2019 to December 2021. From September 2016 to August 2019, they served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Stanford University. Before that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz from May 2014 to March 2016. Sylwia'swork experience also includes a role as a Research Affiliate at Mayo Clinic School of Medicine from April 2013 to October 2013.

Sylwia Figarska, PhD pursued their education in the field of Genetics and Epidemiology. Sylwia obtained their Master of Science degree in Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Lodz in 2009. Subsequently, they enrolled at the University of Groningen, where they completed their PhD in Genetic Epidemiology from 2009 to 2013.
