Bert Truesdale

Bert Truesdale has extensive experience in dyeing and finishing technology, currently serving as Senior Director at Ten Cate Protective Fabrics since January 2015, where responsibilities include overseeing chemical applications, process safety, sustainability programs, and technical support. Prior to this role, Bert worked as a Senior Research Scientist at Ten Cate Protective Fabrics from September 1999 to December 2014, focusing on chemical applications development and managing research lab operations. Bert also held the position of Technical and Quality Manager at Thomaston Mills, overseeing product quality management and process engineering. Additionally, Bert served as a Corps of Engineer Officer in the United States Army from June 1980 to June 1992, and began a career at Milliken & Company as a Shift Manager and Industrial Engineer. Educational qualifications include an M.S. in Chemistry from Lehigh University, and a B.A. in Chemistry from The Citadel, along with advanced civil engineering training from the US Army Engineer School.
