Jim Deitchman

Jim is vice president and chief financial officer for Tendercare Home Health Services. He has successfully worked with Leslie and a team of dedicated professionals since 1994 to build Tendercare Home Health Services into the largest privately-owned home health business in Indiana. He has helped advance many key business innovations like electronic nursing notes and advanced business analysis tools. He provides management leadership to the Finance department and oversight and direction over human resources, benefits administration, information services, and business strategy and development.

Jim holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue University and a master of science in Management from Indiana Wesleyan LEAP program. He began his career working at Allison Turbine Engine company, now a division of Rolls Royce. His responsibilities included Industrial Engineering, manufacturing process engineering, Quality Team Leader, advanced manufacturing and test process development and Vendor Quality Manager. He holds the Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) professional pilot rating. As a captain with Chautauqua Airlines (Republic Airways), he operated in Part 121 flight operations for all major US airline carriers.

Jim is also President of JLD Enterprises LLC, a real estate holding company, and serves on the board directors for the Community Arts Northeast dba Binford Commons condominium association. In this role, he has been instrumental in many capital improvement projects. He also volunteers regularly with the Harvest for the Hungry garden project, Annual Gala committee, building and grounds projects and Men’s Club events at St Matthew Catholic Church.
