Sasikumar Kallanai

Sasikumar Kallanai has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Sasikumar started their career as an HR Trainee at PGP Group in 2004. From 2005 to 2006, they worked as an HR Executive & Admin at Odyssey India Ltd., being responsible for HR operations across multiple stores.

In 2006, Sasikumar joined Europa Group Chennai as an Officer in HR and later transitioned to a role as Deputy Manager in HR & Administration from 2008 to 2009. Sasikumar then served as a Senior Manager in Retail Operations & HR from 2009 to 2010. In 2010, they were promoted to the position of General Manager, overseeing Retail Sales, Operations, Business Development, and Project functions for the Exclusive Retail Outlet Division in Tamilnadu and Kerala. Sasikumar managed a team of area managers, store managers, and front-line sales associates, achieving top-line growth and profitability for various brands.

From 2012 to 2013, Sasikumar worked as the Head of Operations at Propsearch Online, a start-up providing retail space services. Sasikumar was responsible for setting up the business and managing sales, marketing, and business development.

In 2013, they joined MedPlus Health Services Pvt. Ltd. as a Senior Manager in Retail Operations & HR for a brief period of time.

In 2014, Sasikumar took on the role of Head of Sales & Operations at Goodwill Enterprises, overseeing the sales and operations functions of the company, including managing over 34 retail stores for multinational retail brands like adidas and PUMA in South India.

Most recently, Sasikumar co-founded TenderCuts - Farm Fresh Meats in 2015. Sasikumar first served as the Head of Marketing before being promoted to Vice President of Operations in 2016. From 2019 to 2021, they held the position of Chief Business Officer, and as of October 2021, they serve as the Co-founder & CBO of the company.

Throughout their career, Sasikumar has demonstrated their ability to lead and manage various aspects of business operations, including sales, marketing, HR, and project management.

Sasikumar Kallanai started their education at Tamilnadu Institute of Labour Studies in 1999, where they pursued a degree in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations. Sasikumar completed this degree in 2002. Subsequently, in 2002, they enrolled at Loyola Institute of Business Administration and obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) with a specialization in HR, Training & Development in 2003.
