Maurilio León

CEO at Tenderloin Neighborhood Development

Maurilio León is currently the CEO at Tenderloin Neighborhood Development. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Operating Officer for Community Housing Opportunities Corporation (CHOC) from January 2013 to December 2021. In this role, they were responsible for strategic and operational oversight of programs and establishing partnerships to further programs and community outcomes. Before CHOC, Mr. Leon was the Executive Vice President for The Unity Council from January 2011 to December 2013. The Unity Council is a nationally recognized nonprofit corporation known for its innovative and successful approaches to community development. Each year, an estimated 12,000 primarily low to moderate income clients are provided with the tools needed to transform their lives, build assets and ultimately achieve long-term educational, entrepreneurial or homeownership success.

Maurilio León has a Masters in Public Policy from Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government and a degree in Political Science and Education from the University of California, Berkeley.
