Jim Peskin

Educator at Tenement Museum

Jim Peskin is an experienced educator and arts professional with a diverse background in management, directing, and historical education. Currently serving as an Educator at the Tenement Museum since November 2022, Jim has also held the role of Managing Partner at Harding Hillside Consulting since June 2015. Previously, Jim was a Senior Guide at Save Ellis Island, Inc., where tours of the Ellis Island Hospital Complex were led, providing historical context for visitors. Additional roles include Vice President of the Board of Directors at Art House Productions, Associate Managing Director at Luna Stage Company, and Coordinator for the Open Book/Open Mind program at Montclair Free Public Library. Academically, Jim holds an MFA in Directing from Yale University and a BA in English/Theater from Hamilton College.
